a change to TG/RG and a rule change/ addition.

so after having a debate/argument with ducky (don't diss the dude he had his opinion so please don't diss him) but we had debate/argument about the jedi/sith code and some regulations that TG/RG follow. so the following points where discussed:

  1. the code must be followed in line with RP inside the server.
  2. TG/RG imprisoning for RDM and staff interpretation to RDM.

so point NO1, the code must be followed in line with RP inside the server.

so the argument was the point that it is not necessary to follow the jedi/sith code because it is not directly in relation to RP and that the server is semi-RP. i argued the point that the jedi code defines itself with peace, and does not force chaos into the jedi. the point was argued that the code does not interact with the current RP. i argued the point that if the code was not to be followed, a jedi may create chaos and under the terms should not be arrested for creating chaos in anyway. this results in breaking not only TG rules but also server rules. as this is what could happen i believe that the codes in each faction must be followed in it depth and that the TG/RG must ensure that the codes are followed as RP codes are built as a construct to control what happens in the faction. the jedi did not agree with me due to the fact that first line "there is no emotion, there is only peace", would mean that jedi's must ensure that they cannot fight without being attacked which i believe that, that interpretation has been seen and is wrong. the jedi 3rd line says that "there is no chaos, there is only harmony". this would mean that the code states that any obvious chaotic activity must result with an opposing but not necessarily an attack.

point 2, the TG/RG imprisoning for RDM within the faction breaks the 4th wall as staff must interact with this. the rules should state that a more serious offense like MRDM should be dealt with the staff or TG/RG must emmit arresting a person for RDMing and instead allowing administrating bodies to deal with the matter.

thank you if you are reading this and your opinion matter in this case.
please take your time to read CAREFULLY but please comment on this as i would like to see peoples opinion on this matter.
